AVICAR AEROSPACE
About Us

Avicar Aerospace, Inc.’s purpose is to create a vehicle that transports people from their destination point to their arrival point in a manner that is quicker than any other form of transportation.  Avicar combines technologies to manufacture an aerospace vehicle that is both drivable on the ground and flyable in the air, in a safe, efficient and environmentally acceptable way.  The corporation’s financial goal is to maximize the long term wealth of both its employees and share holders.

Nathan A. Martin and Connie L. Martin founded Avicar on Nathan’s vision of a safe and truly workable flying and driving vehicle.  They both use the Avicar concept in their books and seminars as an example of a complicated idea that can be made simple by breaking it into its constituent parts.  The idea for Avicar was first made public with the release of Nathan’s book Flight to Financial Freedom in February of 2007.

Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in Professional Aviation and Business from Louisiana Tech University, and a Master’s degree in Aviation Operations and Management.  He has over 12,000 flight hours working as a general aviation flight instructor, corporate pilot and manager, fifteen years of active and Reserve Air Force flying service, as well as many years flying for a major airline.  His greatest aviation accomplishments include graduating from college with honors, finishing at the top of his Air Force pilot training class, flying the world over as a young flight instructor and evaluator pilot while in the military, owning an aviation management company, and flying many happy hours at the controls of a Boeing 737.

Incentive Program

In keeping with the “open architecture” ideology, direct compensation for input is limited.  However, Avicar Aerospace, Inc. may develop an award program to grant “certificates of participation” in exchange for certain services – these certificates hold no value what-so-ever, but may, at some point in the future afford certificate holders benefits and or pay for their contributions at the sole discretion of the board of directors.

Innovation Awards – Each January, the Avicar Board of Directors will meet to review critical and innovative inputs that either will be used or have the potential to be used in the actual production of Avicar vehicles.  The board will determine which innovations merit award as well as the composition of any such award.  To submit your idea for consideration, you may either post it publicly on our forum, or privately, depending on its sensitivity, via phone or email.  If you wish your input to remain confidential, it will – please refer to our confidentiality policy.

If you have knowledge of a patented technology that may be suitable for use in the Avicar design, please notify us of your proposed use and the patent number if possible.  The first person to identify each useable patent to us will be rewarded for the referral, at the board’s discretion, if a licensing agreement is reached with that patent holder.
